    2002 Saturn L200 BCM Programming

Hey all, I'm wondering if it's possible to program theft, etc., for a 2002 Saturn L200. Installed a *new* BCM, and would rather avoid taking the car to the dealership to have it programmed. I'm working with a Solus Edge. Thanks!!

No, the Snap On Solus Edge cannot program a new BCM as far as I know unless the new BCM on that old model car just needs a VIN # entered and some rudimentary coding / multiple choice selections with up and down buttons but doubt it does.
Snappy is likely in cahoots with Drewtech and OE car makers, lol

Someone with a Tech2 and possibly a sub to tis2web sps can do it. It's best to see what options have been selected with the original BCM connected prior to programming the New BCM if possible so as not to make any mistakes with the New BCM. Also remember after so many IG cycles the BCM will be locked and will no longer be able to be programmed.

The original BCM was completely offline at the time of the change. Have any idea how many IG cycles until the BCM becomes totally useless?

I believe it is 15 cycles.
