cam and crank diff = -2.2

I got a 03 Chrysler PT cruiser 2.4L, std. 160,785 miles. Timing belt is due for service already and I am using Verus scan tool:
PID Cam and crank sync = yes
Cam and crank diff = -2.2

What is the spec for this vehicle? I know this value suppose to be cero or positive 2. Why is it negative?

I was taught that as a general rule of thumb is that CMP retard should be no more than +-2 degrees. Looks like yours is ok, but you should always look at the spec or just change the belt anyways, for it's service interval.
If you can't explain it simply, you don't understand it well enough.

I have been looking for published specifications from Chrysler before and could not find any. 2 degrees don't worry me, normal wear and tear.

Here are some engine data from a 2003 Sebring 2.4, right after we replaced the belt:

Here is what it looked like before. No codes, but engine ran like cra(p):

FYI I had a 2010 Dodge caravan with a 3.3l engine that had -4 on cam/crank sync. The engine was running fine, just the spark plug wire was gone and the coil was gone. After everything fix it ran smooth with the -4 degree.
