Depends on what info in the auto hvac system you are wanting to see -
Some of the HVAC data is located in the engine data stream on that vehicle. Whatever data is not there is not available, or doesn't exist(in the case of manual AC). If I remember right, even the electronic control heads don't communicate with the scanner on those cars. They can only flash a code. The service procedures will tell you how to extract them.

Hence, why I asked depends on what you want to see, AC clutch comand, comp. on/off, ac psi switch on auto ac found in engine control. Info such as blend door control, auto temp, passenger auto temp. Factory tool
