    2001 ford galaxy 2.8 v6 multiple misfire

    Hi all, wil email SO UK when tiscali email server working.
    Solus Pro 10.4 s/w
    Chose manufacture options, then there was 5 engin eoptions AAA,K,P,PW & Q
    Car : Galaxy 2.8 V6

    Need to check closer as the vin plate is missing
    Pro would reported back no communication with vehicle, need to reread pluging in my line spi during the week to check pins at dlc plug.

    UNLESS a FAULT an cant read ? ie not compatible to 10.4 s/w.

    Car presented today with misfire, sometimes its fine, then when it gets warm, it starts misfiring.

    Codes: codes aquired using EOBD an NOT manufacturer option.
    P0300 randon multiple misfire
    P0306 / 0301 / 0302 / 0304 / 0305 / 0303 - cylinder misfires
    P0011 camshaft postition 'A' ....

    P1116 manufacturer specific autodata description-engine coolant sensor
    P1103 manufacturer specific autodata description-mass air flow sensor

    Any views, common concerns to look for, obviously try an read airflow values and monitor coolant sensor from cold.

    Not sure if this is relevent but autodata know fix: secondary air injection (AIR) pump siezed, cause: cat blocked, remedy: replace air pump then check cat.

    corrected engine spec

    Corrected the engine spec, its V6, need to find a link on 10.4 s/w to see if readable. Need to investigate further as the vin plate is missing.

      Hi all, managed to read it, the phrase' left hi an dry' rings true here, buy a piece of kit and left to get on with it, 2 years asking while i was on finance, an yes, nowt recived. thats for another post to go up shortly for more help.

      Ford Galaxy, code pulled:
      Description on SO diag machine:
      17748 camshaft/crank angle sensor wrong combination of ecu's P1340

      (leave to run a while longer then the other codes appear, but if the cam an crank system is faulty then of course im gona get misfires are i ).

      Not familiar with the ford vw unit vr6, looking at changing a sensor may be.

      Run the car from cold, lumpy as a sinlge cylinder diesel, after 10 mile runa prox, shes smooth, nice warm engine. BUT turn her off and straight away regardless of engine condition, she a single cylinder diesel again until shes warmed up ( bare in mind that the engine is warm already).
      Im getting other misfire codes an oxy sensor heater circuit codes, misfire codes im putting down to code 17748 P1340.

      Any views, or common concerns to check foor ?
