      Here are links to a user manual PDF. Other than making sure you have fresh batteries and a non corrupted CF card , or damaged cable , I think I would call tech support. On the lower of the 2 links, PDF for EThos plus, I saw time setting procedure on page 51 of manual (pg 56 of the pdf)

        Thank you very much, I think the cable was damaged, broken screen version of the cable
        I have one more question, damaged flash card
        I bought a new flash card
        starts, only the service menu
        how to write new software, a new flash card

          "Broken screen version of the cable?" What's that?
          I know sometimes it might feel good to beat my scanner with it's cable if the screen freezes up and scanner doesn't do what I need it to do , but I just knock it on wood and restrain myself from beating the screen with the cable.
          All kidding aside , have you called tech support for assistance?

            I am from Moldova! Technical support is not here
