This is a great forum! A lot of smart people out there.
I was just wondering if any one has successfully programmed a 02-06 Dodge Cummins diesel?
I always heard to stay away from them. I had RE programmed other dodge diesel engine PCMs before with the Pass Thru Pro II before any never had a problem.
They say programming a new dealer (blank) PCM is a real headache! Problems with after installing, the VIN will not write and vehicle will not start? other problems list, once the VIN cannot be written in, the PCM is no longer any good?
Does/has anyone program these PCMs and if anyone did, what are the steps to insure a trouble free successful program and vehicle starts and runs ok.
