Honda functional tests not working

I have a verus with the latest software update. It pulls codes and data from a 2001 Honda civic ok but when I try to do a functional test with KOEO it says the engine is running when it isn't and won't let me run the test.

Which version of software are you running on your verus?

Post more details of the car you're working on like a vin.

If the model has more than 1 engine or transmission available, let us know which one the vehicle you're working on has.

Honda functional tests have never worked on any of my snap on scanners(modis, solus pro, solus ultra). I've had updates from 9.2 to 13.2 and the tests still don't work. if snap on wanted the test to work they would have done so by now.
