Should have hit continue and it may have suggested hooking to tail pipe. Keep smiling.

I really like the GM auto ID feature in 15.2, saves the whole VIN no. in the vehicle history file and everything, Thanks !!! The K17 request seems to come up every time, CAN vehicle or not. It doesn't seem to effect the auto ID if it's in or not for the non CAN systems.

I see the scan module is connected by USB because the icon is green. Does it do it if it is connected wirelessly?

Sorry, still old school here, no wireless module, just the cable. I'll ask Snappy if he'll loan one to me next week and give it try.
