    Duty Cycle and Low Amps

How would you make the connections for a duty cycle and Low Amps on a verus?

I was checking the duty cycle on the heater circuit for an Air Fuel Sensor on a 2008 Toyota. The duty cycle is supposed to be 60% cold and 35 to 40% after two minutes. I also wanted to see how many amps the heater was using. Can this be done in one test? What are the hook ups?

The low amp probe is going to need its own ground and its own channel. The duty cycle is going to be measuring the pulsed ground on the 02 circuit.

Any help with this setup would be appreciated.

    two tests in one

    Hello

I am sure that this can be done. In fact after setting it up and viewing the results you can save the preset.

    Select dual graphing meter.
Set channel 1 to view the low amps 20 and connect low amp probe on the control wire. Be sure the polarity is correct. Back pin the control wire with channel 2 and set it to read duty cycle. Set the time base to several seconds and you should be able to see the current on 1 and DC on 2. Save the setup as a preset and you can do the same test again if you need it.
