    The first device-the first questions

    Hey.
    I bought a second-hand VantegePro. It works correctly, but there are a few questions.
    1)After the device is turned off, the date-time settings are reset.
    2)When I turn on the device, I do not see the software version.
    2)The device does not communicate with my personal computer.
    What do I need to fix?

    Not sure about question #1 but check the battery..??

    Software version may be in a "tools" section to view current information but I'd have to check mine to verify where it is.

    Just use a USb stick to save your data to. Then take the USB stick to your computer. (it's lighter to carry anyway...LOL)

      Here is a link to the user manual, the device should also have a user manual embedded.

        Hi, I am guessing that there will be a ' back up battery ' built inside the device.
        For me ( an electronic technician amongst other things ) this would be an easy job to sort, but only disassemble if you feel A, competent to do so and B, you can afford to throw it away if you break it !
        The battery will be something like a CR 2032 ( the first pair are the diameter, second pair are the thickness of the battery ) or similar built into a socket for replacement.
