I have nine oscilloscopes, five I repaired. Six Tektronix Curve Tracers.
Bench Digital Multimeters, Signal analyzers, Function Generators.
All sorts of tube testing equipment I have had to repair or bring back from the dead.
I am not afraid !!!
I keep buying broken equipment to learn about and repair and then use those to repair more complicated equipment.
Isn't that what all of us do on this forum?
