    Toyota Evap service bay tests

In regard to Toyota's service bay test. I would appreciate some input on the interpetation of the various screens. Also is there a particuliar time frame to stay on each screen?

I have started a thread on this exact topic in the evap emissions section but did not receive any info. When I did a back to back on a bad then good car not much showed up. I'll try to post my second finding tonight in that thread. I did my testing at 1 minute intervals and seemed to work okay, but that's just a guess. These can be a real bugger sometimes, but we don't learn without a little persistence. Also, Toyota has very limited info on testing times and parameters from what I have found. Maybe try asking a buddy that works at Toyota is my best help at this moment.

If you are talking about the Toyota Key Off system, this powerpoint explains the scanner screen shots and has some nice animation to show you exactly what is going on, and about how long the scanner should stay on each screen.

Download it from my dropbox. Save it to your PC.
