    I"M supposed to be the crusty one.....
    We all learn something new every day. NO ONE knows it all.

    Pick on the tools, pick on the software, pick on the vehicles, pick on the parts

    Personal negative comments only demean the person who says them

    37 years bashing knuckles and it's still a learning experience

    Both are right and both are wrong.
    The tool should have the proper commands, yet the vehicle is capable of adjusting.
    It's usually better to reset everything to base program after a repair and let the vehicle relearn with a clean slate. If you don't, sometimes the vehicle can't adjust fast enough and it resets a code.

      Looks like a dredged up old thread and first time poster with spam. I didn't click on posted link.
      I read the old thread which was before my time here. Pretty entertaining read though, can't blame me for pushing buttons of folk on that thread
