12v wall wart for car battery jumper

I have a car battery jumper and the wall wart (power plug) was cut (long story) so I have a wall plug that I want to adapt to the jumper- how do I tell which wire coming from the barrel plug (at the jumper) is the positive? I hope this is clear I know it would be easier to buy a new one (part # EEJP200M-2 AC Wall Charger) but times are really tight and I received this as a trade- thanks in advance

Like AC current I am not positive or negative but Typically the wider prong slot on s the wall outlet is wired to the Nuetral wire. I believe that is the white or light beige wire and the hot be black , and the center prong basically a green safety ground to the case . Check the outlet with a DVOM and the wire leads inside the charger jumper to be sure you know what is what.
