Witsend Made it to level 2! Looks like you are on your way to becoming famous

Default Knucklehead Welder

My niece slid her old 98 Dodge Grand Caravan into a curb and bent the steering knuckle which for this is either Mopar new or a salvage yard sourced part. When the weather finally warmed up to chase to salvage yard they had plenty of newer than 2000 model year mini vans but was down to only one 2000 that would work. The good was I could see it had a recently replaced hub assembly but the casting had relatively deep wear indentations where the brake pads contact. What a Horsesh@t design, but what can you do? Well I pulled out the $99 110v 90A HF welder to see if it could fill in the wear divots, and guess what ? It seemed to work.
