Yeah, I got interrupted during a diag today. I let it load and took a break (thank God for salary work!). After that it was back to work, so I had no time to play with it. I brought it home tonight, but spent the last couple hours working on my son's quad. I was hoping someone might have chimed in about the new goodies...

I got this update as well, installed it and rebooted my Verus. But after booting back up it just got stuck in the Red V screen as startup. I left is alone for a 2 hrs but it was still stuck there. I just had to restore it by running the reimage restore. Once I got everything loaded back I redownloaded the update and installed it, This time it worked ok. But I lost all my repair history and data. What was it supposed to Fix? It just broke my Verus the 1st time?

Eddiesverus, did you download and use the back up tool??? If not you can find it in the link below. Run it before any software changes and it will back up the customer history in case you need re image. If you have to re image, you run the program and restore the data and it will repopulate the customer list to your last back up. Install that tool on a thumb drive and use that thumb drive only for that restore tool so you erase or corrupt the data.

Thanks Kid, Yes I have the Backup tool, but I did not have a recent backup so most of the current data was lost up to the last backup I had. But now I know to backup every day. Thanks anyways.

I got another update today. Apparently it was for Verus and Verdict users. Did anyone else get one?

I used it on a 06 Durango yesterday and it worked fine. I'll continue to monitor for trends.

I'm running 11.4 on my Gen 1 VERUS and there was no update as of last week for mine...Are you guys using 12.2? I have often wondered if NOT running the latest release drops one from the ability to install patches. Anyone know?

updates and patches are usually only released for current software during there active status. So unless there is a need to release an update for the machines software, then you will most likely not see a patch for older versions of the diagnostic software.
