    Modis DMM

just a suggestion for the Modis team. it would be nice if ohms could be graphed in the PGM functions of the Modis. For reference I am using 5.4.
This would help in component/circuit diagnosis.

I agree, a graph would catch any glitch / drop out you normally would not see, as in a wiggle test for example!

        Graphing ohms, good suggestion

Hi jsoullier, I have been pushing for the same thing and I am hoping that some day we can. Modis is now able to graph AC and DC volts between channel #1 and ground, so some new features are being added.

I dont know if you have seen the the new Vantage PRO, but it currently Will Graph ohms.

        Take Care, Dave

          step forward or backward

The old Vantage would graph ohms too. Just thought that an advanced unit like the Modis would include ohms graphing.

I agree. The Modis should do everything any of it's individual components can and more. As much as we pay for the MODIS and the bi-annual updates, I would expect it to be "the best" or combination of the best Snap-On has....

I also agree, It should be a feature because of what the modis can do with it.
hopefully with the new updates it will happen! but then again who finds themselves using ohm's that much anymore, where you would really need graphing

                graphing ohms

personally i dont feel that the MODIS needs to graph ohms, a voltage drop test reveals more information than any ohms test can. Besides using the labscope on most sensor, acuators shows you all that then some more. take a fuel injector patern for instance- you get system volts, ground and operation voltage spikes, pintle movement in just one screen. The DMM in the MODIS is really secondary, for my money i would like to be able to toggle between componet test info and a full screen
