Hello Vantage Pro Users,
I don't know if there is a reason to have or use this connection being that the only reason I see for having it at this time is to transfer files. It feel it is a lot easier to do the file transfer with the CF card. If you are interested in making this connection here is the procedure.
Select "Connect to PC" in "Utilities", "Y" to do it, then power Vantage Pro on and it will be in the connection mode.

Plug the USB cable into the Vantage Pro, then into the PC. I don't know if this is a special cable but I had 2 lying around and they both worked. I know one is for my digital camera and I can't remember where the other one came from.

If you go to "My Computer" with your PC you should see the Vantage Pro CF cards.

I also need to mention that if you decide to do this, you are doing it at your own risk to the Vantage Pro and or PC. This procedure will not work with the first software version.
