    2004 Dodge Ram 3500 / Cummins 5.9 - Needs "Key"

Just picked up our new Verus D10 wireless unit and workstation - VERY excited to use this tool.

However, we went to scan a 2004 Dodge Ram 3500 with the Cummins 5.9 and were disappointed to see that it asked us to insert "Key 12" and "Key 25" as we attempted to communicate with the engine control module and scan the live data. Our scan module doesn't appear to have any spots for "keys" as in the old days of diagnostic equipment. We have our old OTC Pegisys (I know, blasphemy) here and that connected and talked to the module just fine.

    What are we missing?

    We have:
    Version: 2.5.0.2961
    Bundle: 13.2

    Just posting an update:

The issue was resolved after connecting the Scan Module and updating the software, then running a complete software update on the tool. Now when we connect it, it works properly and communicates, displays datastream and runs bi-directional tests.

We'd connected the wireless scan module via USB to the Verus dock, then went into Settings and reprogrammed it from there.

good to know you got it working, you will find the verus works great on the 5.9 cummins and the functional test"s are very usefull.
