    Microscan Usb Driver

    Hi
    Can anybody help !
I am having problems connecting a bluepoint MICROSCAN to the Shopstream Connect software.
When I plug it in I get a message that windows doesnt recognise the device and the usb driver is not present.
    I am using windows 7 32bit on a DELL E6410 laptop.
It worked perfectly on my last DELL laptop using Windows 7 32bit but wont on this one.
I have installed and updated SSC to version 8.0.5.0 and the software seems fine but wont connect to the MICROSAN device.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Does the new computer have the "Framework 2.0 .net" in it???

You'll probably have to go to the Microsoft website to download and install it. It's free.

Just make sure you make a manual "Restore point" in your computer before you let it install, just in case. I've installed the "Framework 2.0 .net" in several computers over the last few years without any issues but.....a restore point is way too easy to do just to CYA.

You may have to find a "driver" file. There are some websites that do exactly that. Perhaps the Dell site might recognize what driver it needs and will direct you to which driver is missing.

When you connect the Microscan to your laptop, be sure to select "Connect to PC" mode on the Microscan.

            GLAD you got it running-!!
Also glad I was able to help. I'm no computer guru like some guys are.

Thanks for the tip about Control Panel.
SSC has the potential to be a great boon to the trade....IF they ever get the I's dotted and the T's crossed, but we can hope.
Watch out for missing decimal places when you play back a movie with SSC

Not sure if it is the case with you guys, but those of use with 12.2 on the Verus cannot load to SSC.

Can you be more specific as to what "won't work"? Are you getting any error messages? It won't install or load? Can't download the link?
