    Data Parameter

Can any one tell me what the data parameter labelled 'Air Consumption' is.

Its labelled in unit mg/sec. It reads 97mg/sec on my Volvo at idle, it rises upon revving and returns to 97 if hold steady at 2000rpm. (Its not MAF as that is listed as kg/hr = 8.2 at idle)

    97mg/sec = 0.097g/sec is very low.

I cant find any information anywhere including the 2013 Snap On Volvo VCS Manual parameter lists

    Many Thanks

Just multiply the grams of air per sec times 360 and divide by 1000 and you should be in same ballpark as your KG per hour. Figure it's basically the same Sh@t displayed in different denominations.

Thanks for the reply but that's not the answer to the question I have asked.

      97 x 360 / 1000 = 349.2

My kg/hr at idle is 8.2 which = 2.2g/sec which is bang on spec

Sorry , Maybe it's something else like estimated Evap vent air or crankcase ventilation air that is pulled into intake other than the MAF metered air , because the math doesn't add up.
