    95 grand cherokee steering

    so far everything i posted got fixed, so well try this one....
    95 grand cherokee 5.2l 4x4
    in 2 wheel drive, sharp turns vehical bounces bad like an u-joint in front end is binding something definitely binding....replaced axle shafts(the cv type) even though nothing seemed wrong with them 35bucks apiece
    didnt make a difference,anyone know what may be causing this complaint?

    The viscous coupler in the transfer case is bad. It is located under the rear covers. If it your first one pull the whole case out and do it on the work bench. It will be a lot easier than in the car

      If you have a full time 4WD T-case, happybob is probably right. Look for a root cause like the wrong fluid or different size tires. If the T-case has an actual 2WD option, there is no viscous coupler but you should check the case to be sure it actually goes into 2WD. Also look inside the front diff. It could have a problem with the spider gears.
