10.4 &s'pro fails to read toyota 4efe engine

Hi all, struggling to read data from a 1999 TOYOTA CORROLLA 4efe engine as loaded on to 10.4 s/w.
Chose manufacturer - year 1999 - corolla -1.4L 4efe - ENGINE - M/T with A/C.

Use TOY1 adapter, did this, screen displayed no power warning at diag plug,added power lead and powered from battery and tested again at ciggy plug, still gave problems.

Eventually got to engine live data screen then after 2 secs changed back to no comunication,only jus had time to save screen shots to show what i could see.
S.O s/w says i should be able to read this. Screen shots attached.

FREEZE FRAME data facility removed/missing ? 10.4

As the tittle, FREEZE FRAME data review for codes missing for older cars, was available in 10.2 but not in 10.4 .

I thought the whole idea of upgrades was 'Progess'

Think we all need to keep a copy of the SNAP ON fault report form in our tool boxes and send them in daily.
