Was looking at buying a used solus pro, has 12.2 update, just wondering if anybody knows if a guy can use it to do a trans relearn on an 08 dodge ram 3500 cummins automatic ?

On that particular truck you need to have a scanner connected to the vehicle to look for the tests, so you can figure it out easier than anyone else if you have the truck.
Go to Functional and System Tests in the Trans menu to see if the quick learn procedure is there. If you don't have the truck, call Tech support at 800-332-2526. Have the VIN handy.

Yeah that's pretty much what they told me on the tech line yesterday, I guess the better question is, should it work? 7 out of 10 times at least haha. I know a few people have said the ultra will relearn the 68rfe but can't get a straight answer about the pro, thanks for the replyComment

Currently, the only transmission relearn that is not covered is the AS68RC which is the Aisin transmission in the Chassis Cab trucks. All other transmissions should be covered in 2008 Diesel trucks. I know that the tests are available in 12.2 Software, but I have only run the Quick Learn tests with 13.4 and later software.Comment

Just picked up the solus, tried it out and it does work on this truck, haven't done the procedure yet, but it is definatly on the menu, guess its time to scrap the brick.Comment
