    Limit Open Questions

We're looking into limiting the number of open questions users have so that we can encourage them to close their questions.

What do you think an appropriate limit would be? Consider that techs may be working on several vehicles in a time period.

    Thanks for your input.

Just completely off the cuff I'd say 10 sounds like a totally reasonable number. I dont think think Id go below 5 even being strict, just to account for questions that dont get any responses or some of the ones that get a lot of attention and go on for several pages/days.

Maybe it needs to have a time component as well. If you're actively asking questions (hopefully not the same one over and over) you wouldn't bump into the limit. And also give more room for seasoned members or based on the points.

Some shops may have one tech who does all the asking. Either way I'd try to make it easily configurable so that it could be adjusted as necessary.
