    That answer hit the nail on the head. I guess I just had the thought that SnapOn wrote the control software, was unaware ECMs had this stuff built in that the scan tool can't override. Thanks

          VW/Audi data groups

          Dear Santa,

          I would like a method...a chart, a reference, a guide of some sort to help those of us who purchase Euro software to be able to interpret the data in the "data block" groups within the engine and other module's data without having to log into Ross-Tech in hopes of finding the vehicle /year specific info revealing what the Pid's units are so we can actually use the very powerful, so-called expert mode of our tools to fix these tricky cars. This remains a MASSIVE waste of resources. My modis is capable of laying out the info. We don't have the means to use it.

          Share with Snap-on Diagnostics, the additional features that you need or desire in our tools. What do the factory tools do that you absolutely need in your Snap-on tool.
