Default Subaru key programing

Has anyone used a j2534 and programed a 2009 Tribeca replacement key?
Need to know if it can be done before purchasing a subscription. Thanks John

Rather than second opinions on costly information like that, would it not be better to ask the supplier to make sure it will or won't in the first instance?
