gooberidiot Congratulations! Your peers have given you enough reputation to put you into the fist level!

Default modis will not get past modis screen

Picked up a Modis at a storage auction and it worked on the first car I hooked it up to.... it was just my 2007 Freestar and had no codes or problems. I am a Master tech and have been using the "red brick" forever knowing I need to upgrade, even though it was good to 2003. Now I get a 2009 Buick with ABS engine light and traction control lights on and I grab my Modis thinking GREAT opportunity to really check it out. Hook it up and it will not go past the Modis screen. What did do wrong and how do I fix my "new" toy? The sticker on the back of it makes me think it is current up to 2012 but I have no way of knowing since I cant get it to boot up past the modis screen...The date on the modis screen is 1/30/2015. Can anybody help me out here?
