    MT2500 vs. MTG2500

What are the differences in these two scanners? I found two that are for sale and I am not sure which to purchase.

The MTG has a color display and has PID graphing capabilities.

I would steer away from the MTG. I support a few shops who had one in the past. They all had issues with it.

The only difference is the MTG has a color graphing function. The herritage scanner does not. I would not recomend spending your money on an old brick, since it will be going away in a few years. A Solus, or a Solus Pro will be a way better investment in tooling. The data speed is way faster, the tool has very good graphing functions, the tool will also save data way better. It is just an all around better tool.

Go Pro. You won't be able to update the MT platforms soon and your money won't be very well spent on something you can't update, IMO.
