    4.6 ford explorer 2005?

    removed coil from cyl 4,6,8 found antifreeze in spark plug hole above plug none in cyl 2 cant find any leak now cant get plug out of cly 8 its siezed any ideas

    Have you considered a coolant hose and/or clamp, specifically a heater hose, leaking down on to the coil/plug? Common with the Expeditions. As far as the spark plugs breaking... look for TSBs from Fords. The three valve ones can be a bastard and there is a mostly effective procedure for pulling them. There are also a variety of tools to assist.

    Have you considered downloading the Shopstream Connect w/ Ask-A-Tech Live application? It is an avenue for getting troubleshooter information as well as assistance from working technicians.

      well i agrew with you but thats not the case customer never ever noticed antifreeze smell either
