I have a 2006 Impala SS...I bought a used Gem module and wish to have programmed for the car, I tried just to plug and play but it spit all kinds of things on the read out on the dash...can I send this to anyone to have it programmed?

Shorty, i believe your gonna have to include a bit more info than you have provided. This "GEM" module (usually used to describe a Ford body control module), is it the BCM? Most (if not all) modules in this car will need either initialization or programming to work correctly. For this you will need a pass-thru J2534 device and a temp subscription to ACDelco's Tech connect or a factory tool. I dont know (you haven't included) whether or not it will still run with this new "GEM" installed. I suspect you will have problems. Check out the J2534 forum for a look at your future.
