I always do the parameter reset. Not sure if it's a must for all Ford, but glad I got an answer. I found a way to do fords with only one key. This is for old fords, not sure about new ones. Thanks for the info greasybob. Maybe u cam shed some light on my incode/outcode question.

well thats another one to add to the notes. Thanks for the info. this one lost coil driver. Checked w/noid lite flashed. plugged back in and checked w/ power probe lost power. not enough resistance in noid light to kill driver.
