    New Durango Battery

Just for giggles, Does anyone know where the battery is located on the new Dodge Durango. I followed the power cables from the jump posts into the abyss of the chassis without locating the battery. The owners manual, All-data and MOD is no help. Not that I have a problem but its not obvious where it is!!

    From the Chrysler web site:
The battery is located under the passenger seat. A breather line runs from the battery through the bottom of the recess well to the outside of the vehicle.

Yeah, but maybe it'll make those discount parts stores that offer free battery replacement with purchase think twice about offering that service.

Yeah, the free battery installation service is slowly becoming a thing of the past. Knowing which ones are trouble is important. Who'd have thought that we'd have to hit the books to replace a battery. The times, they are a changin. I've been banking on these changes for a long time. Specialization!
