    snap-on 5 gas analyzer question

    hey,

just wondering if anyone has the "Hand Held 5 gas analyzer" by snap on?
what do you think of it?
    is it worth buying?

    thanks

    Snap-on FGA

I have the "FGA" I think it stands for Flexible Gas Analyzer. I rarely use it now, but find it useful for analysis of A/F sensors and the occasional Idle emissions test.

It was fairly expensive as far as gas analyzers go, but it integrated with my Modis and that made life easier. I bought mine in the heyday of IEPA emissions testing when I saw 300 IM240 cars a year. The very next year, they dropped IM240 testing. It was very useful for diagnostics and after repair testing on the road.
