    2000 BMW 540i wrong codes.

Working on a 2000 BMW 540i 4.4l VIN- WBADR6343YGN91059. connected verus, pulled codes 141, 26, 213, 27, 140, 210. Went to try maxidas got code P0171, tried auto enginuity got code p0171. Just for kicks tried my j2534m from drew tech, same only pulled code P0171 with the toolbox. On the last attemp went to global obd 2 with the verus and only code P0171. Seems its spitting out erratic codes...
1st Gen Verus 2 most recent update on it....

You need to be careful using Global (which tools that dont support a manufacturer use). BMW and VW as well. A lot of the time in global, or "generic" not all the codes are listed, and additionally, on a code clear, not all are cleared. I dont know if the data you got is inaccurate or not, but I would be weary of 5 codes from SO, and one from the others. I havent been bitten by their BMW software yet. VW hasnt bitten me, but isnt as good as it used to be so I bought VCDS from Ross-Tech to remove my coverage "hole". Its like their old SW was decent, and they gave up researching for their current software. No data, no tests, no output controls. its like they said "Well, we can give them codes, that should be good enough for the money...hey were giving them LR and Volvo...what they want!" I do not work on enough BMW to justify buying any specific SW for them. Same with MB.
