I think Snappy is gonna have to buy Licensing rights to use the Triton name and logo like Autel had to do for the Blue Ovalries.

Hee, some excellent responses so far. So what is this anyway, a slightly updated Modis this time?

It appears to be a Modis for the diagnostically challenged.

It's a smaller, cheaper Zeus. Comes with the same 2 year updates free and all that diagnostic software that the zeus has to help you diagnose the problem you caused by changing a front tie rod which according to ur customer "hApPeNeD aFtEr yOu rEpLaCeD iT"

That's why before I work on any Turd , I hook up my wireless VCI and do a wireless auto-Pre-scan of the whole Shabang while having a cold beverage and e-mail the results to the customer to save ink, paper, second guessing myself, and ever since headaches.

What Does the D-8 stand for ?

Is it actually already the 8th Generation of Snap On Diagnostic platforms already?
Let me see Counselor , MT2500, MTG2500, Solus, Solus Pro, Solus Ultra , Solus Edge, Apollo. Seems like 8 generations

It's a Modis Edge with Intelligent Diagnostics. Now you can get 3 scanners with/without that feature.

                      Solus Edge - Apollo
                      Modis Edge - Triton
                      Verus Edge - Zeus

Every time someone runs that "intelligent" diagnostics phrase by me, this pops into my head. I can't help it. EVERY time.
