    Yes, it does replace the K-2A for newer vehicles. The K-20 key came out about the same time as CAN did. It is a replacement for vehicles from that time frame forward [approx 2004]. However, the K-2A key is still needed for older OBD II vehicles.

        Think the original Verus is the last platform currently still supported by (final?) update that still uses personality keys, so I really don't think any more personality keys have been manufactured in awhile, and any new coverage that would require the creation of a new personality key for a Verus , Snap On would have to with hold adding that coverage to the newer keyless platforms until after the last Verus update because the place that manufactured the personality keys probably no longer in business or scrapped the cookie trays
