Hi,does anyone know if the broadband o2 sensor data is of any diagnostic value when the engine is cranking over (ie,vehicle wont start).
The scanner is a Veruse Edge.
Hi,thanks for the reply.I had a petrol car wrong fueled with
diesel.I renewed the fuel, spark plugs ect but the vehicle
refused to start even though i had good compresions, fuel,
spark, ect, ect. The fuel pressure was about 180 bar at cranking
and Autodata said it should have been 120 bar max,so i was
looking at a possible overfueling and thinking of ways to
prove it. Turns out that Autodata was wrong and the fuel
pressure was ok. Anyway the car suddenly burst into life
and now runs perfectly. Thanks again for the reply.
PS.i dont think it does give any useful data when cranking
maybe a gas analyser would have been of some help.
