    Vantage PRO problem

Vantage Pro with 9.4, intermittently I wont be able to power the unit on. The power button will illuminate and beep, screen will turn blue like on a normal start function but then will immediatly turn back off. This has been duplicated on battery and external power. Then with no reason will start working again just fine after many restart attempts.

Anybody seen this or has idea's as to what is going on?

        V-pro

Take Your Battery Out And With A Flashlight Look Inside The Housing Where The Battery Sits. There Should Be Three Prongs That Match The Three Silver Contacts On The V-pro Battery. The Single One At The Top Will COME OUT OF ALIGNMENT Causing A Bad Positive Contact (just Like A Car Battery Terminal). ON THE BATTERY YOU HAVE TWO NEGATIVE TERMINALS AND ONE POSTIVE.

Great point Kebo, when the VantagePro runs of out battery or the battery is taken out, the date and time reset. Could be an intermittent battery connection or could the power button have been bumped?

I have two battery for my Vantage Pro and I swap it out when one is dead and I never have to set the date and time. I think it have an internal battery. Maybe the internal battery is dead.
