    Ethos 24v question

Hi , have a 2010 ethos with 11.2 on it for personal use ( have a texa for work as a hgv mechanic) occasionally the texa is not to hand but need to read a 24v system, can I use the ethos, when I turn on the ethos it gives a 24 v heavy goods vehicle option, but I've noticed the obd socket on a lot of our trucks are slightly different to a standard obd, as in the overall shape is the same but on the mercs, daf and Dennis trucks they all have a small circle in the middle of the socket which won't allow the ethos plug to fit, any ideas

    Thanks
    Tom

Maybe you could get a cheap cable extender that you could hog out a hole in the center of it, so it will drop in ?

50 shades of grey on the touchsceen

If the DLC of the truck has 24 volts at the plug ,then I think an Ethos (car scanner )would fry out.Check the DLC pin schematic and voltages
