Ford Give an inch , take a mile

I needed one bolt on each side . Same diameter and grade of bolt . The slightly shorter bolts W500744S439 lists for $2.78ea. and the slightly longer ones W500746S439 only a quarter inch longer and $12.48 ea. strange, absolutely No rhyme or reasoning to why the extra quarter inch to the bolt multiplies to over 4 times the price.

Ford have been doing that for decades. Nothing new.
That's why they didn't need any bail out money back in 2008, they already had fleeced everybody for years and had money in the bank.
Similar "tactics" of other vehicle manufacturers across the pond.
East or west. Figure out which ones do this kind of thing on a regular basis....
Very "clever".... not really smart, just clever.
People DO figure this kind of thing out eventually.
Would you believe OVER $3,000.00 for a headlight on a Focus (sport model, if you can believe THAT for a Focus)
It's a stick with a turbo so it MUST be fast.....LMAO
The guy is leary of visiting the Blue Oval store again.
