06 Cadillac DTS 4.6 Current misfire counter.

This vehicle came to me with a customer complaint that the engine has no power.Ran eec quick test had codes P0300 and P0302 which was stored in freeze frame. The modis offers the ability to see current and history misfires for each cylinder.Has anyone ran into an issuse with the refresh rate on current misfires not reading correctly? I'm asking because you can feel the miss while brake torqueing the vehicle but the current misfire counts reads 0 for all of the cylinders.

I would look at misfire count History and focus on the cylinder with the highest misfire count

Look for the pid called "Cycles Of Misfire Data". It should be counting up from 0-99 and then start the cycle again. If the value doesn't increase, the PCM will not recognize misfires, even if it only runs on a single cylinder.
