2002 Dodge Ram Diesel Won't Connect

Having what I believe is a software issue with a Modis Ultra 19.2 / 19.4
The unit will self identify the correct VIN and will read and clear codes, but when ECM Data is chosen it returns a 'no communication'. With 19.2 it cycles repeatedly trying to connect and with 19.4 just stalls at the 'no communication' Unable to do any functional tests. The unit will do the limited OBD data. When PCM Data is selected (MT w/AC) it shows as if it is connected to an Automatic.
Verified same issue with Modis Edge 19.4, Ethos Edge 20.2 and Apollo-D9 20.4
Verified that connection is possible and that all systems appear normal with a regular MODIS 15.4
Appears to be Isolated to 'only' 2002 Dodge Diesel MT w/AC
So the question at this point is:
What software version was this glitch introduced ?

have you tried manually identifying the vehicle?
Are you sure there is no tuner/chip downloaded to the ecm.
the modis with 15.4 does not have automatic vehicle id and that might be were your issue is. try turning automatic id off on your unit and see if that works

Already tried the manual ID with the same result.
Tried with another 2002 Dodge Diesel Std, same result.
2001 Dodge Diesel Auto = Good
2001 Dodge Gas Auto = Good
2000 Dodge Gas Auto = Good
1998 Dodge Diesel Std = Good
1998 Dodge Diesel Auto = Good
2003 Dodge Dakota Auto = Good
2003 Chevy Tracker = Good

I've also pulled out the old MTG2500 (5.2/5.4 cartridges) and am able to access ECM data.
The question is:
What software version (16.2 - 18.4) still worked properly when connected to a 2002 Dodge Ram Pickup ?
