Difference between European & US Chrysler Vehicles.

Does anyone know if the European & US Chrysler cars are basically the same, or completely different?
Currently there is no coverage for Chrysler cars on the European 12.4 software, but they are well covered in the US software. Would it just be a simple question of including the US Chrysler software in the Euro version or is it more complicated than that?
It would mean coverage for one more marque with little extra work required.

The gas/petrol engines are most likely the same but we have none of the diesel options here.
