    Chrysler 300

    I would like to know about timing chain on 2007 Chrysler 300 2.7 engine,
    someone can help me???

    All 3 chains can be tricky to set up. It is an interference engine so if it is done wrong you are in trouble. The engine is set up 60 degrees ATDC. The cams gears are timed to each other and then the shafts are rotated to meet the gears.

        What I did was I let my trusted mechanic to do the job it was way tricky to fix coz you need to take out some parts to fit the timing chain.
        best cars are fixed with the best tools

          Chuy, those 2.7 are not the best horse in a race...take my advise..run !
          O.k...if your still here, get a reman engine. Verify its the proper year motor for your application also. Those cam sprockets with cam sensor windows can be various types and DO cause headaches with peeps.
