    2007 toyota tacoma v-6

has anyone experienced this? this truck came into our shop with a bad vibration on light acceleration, which the customer said it could be a torqe converter shudder, but its not the driveshaft was out of balance, so we sent it out to get it balanced. no improovement. took it to one of our wholesale account that we do transmissions for, couldnt figure it out either. they think transmission. but its not. by the way, i,m a tranny builder, so i know the difference from a shudder to a vibration. if you have came across this before let me know.

Sorry I took too long for the fix. But yes, it turned out to be the transmission mount. So please snappy...put this fix in your troubleshooter! I wanted a second opinion, so we sent it out to 2 reputable automotive shops that we do wholesale trannys for, and they came back to us as being in the tranny(wrong diagnosis)! Since it was a vibration at a certian speed they assumed the torque converter was engaging prematurely. But the torque converter did'nt engage until after 25mph. And yes...it felt worse once it engaged. Remember that this was at very light throttle. At hard acceleration it worked like a dream! Thanks for the help normanatlm for the t-sb-0132-08
