I found a good deal on a used unit which stated the battery was dead and works fine while using the a/c adapter. After buying a new battery the unit will not turn on unless plugged in. I took it apart to inspect and found that component Q47 was blown on the board next to the main power trace coming from the battery.

I am hoping someone would be gracious enough to post the part number of this chip so I can replace the damaged component on my unit.

FYI - all that is required to identify the component is to take the screws out of the back, flip it over and take the top off. The Q47 chip should be visible without any more disassembly. Reassembly requires aligning the positive battery connection tab to correct position on case with a pair of needle nose pliers through the battery hole.

Thanks!
