This month’s highlights include:

• SEAT® Leon Heater Matrix Restriction Faults
• Toyota® Avensis No-Start Fuel Pump Drive Issues
• Mercedes-Benz® SLK MAF Fault Diagnosis
• Expanded symptom-based and code-based diagnostic guidance

Hi everyone,

Our latest Snap-on® software highlight is now live, focusing on SRS systems and the importance of IMU calibration following repairs.

Modern restraint systems rely on precise sensor data, meaning module replacement, removal, or repositioning can require recalibration to restore the correct system reference point and ensure proper operation.

This latest software update expands SRS special-function coverage with Volvo® XC90 IMU calibration support, helping technicians complete post-repair procedures correctly using guided workflows built directly into the tool.

The article also takes a deeper look at:

• Why IMU calibration matters
• Common causes of persistent SRS warning lights
• Post-repair verification procedures
• Safety-critical SRS system operation

I have a Snapon MT1665 Counsellor Digital Oscilloscope which I have had since new from 1989. It has worked great until very recently, the screen I was on froze up. I hit the rest button and it went to the main
start up screen and is now locked or frozen on that screen. None of the buttons will let me enter or change information. Anyone have any ideas on what may be required. This is a great scope and love to get it working again as we do work on a lot of pre 2000 vehicles.
