When posting a question please give Year, Make, Model and engine displacement of the vehicle. The first 10 digits of the Vin will also be helpful. Your profile shows you have a Modis, did you check the troubleshooter for any tips? Also the Component Testing Module will show you how to test the cam and crank sensor if thats where there Troubleshooter directs you.

Like Steve has said, the Troubleshooter is full of great tips on these and many other codes and symptoms. Troubleshooter is one of the most underutilized benefits of using Snap-on scanners. You can have a clue and some well researched info that may help you get an understanding as to what these codes really mean.

Since you have a Modis, you can try using the scope and pin out the CKP & CMP signals. In this way, you can see exactly what the PCM sees, and compare your CKP & CMP correlation.
You can save some scope movies and mail them to your peers, or compare your signals to "known good" on iATN in the waveform library for example.
