I have a Sun LS2000 scope in working condition. I am using it for ignition issues on points ignition system.
I can not figure out how to make the proper connections.
It appears that channel 1 should be the secondary pickup clip, black wire to ground, and a red wire to coil side of primary. However the sun wire assembly I have does not have the red wire to coil but dies have a black wire alligator clip. The meter end of the wire assembly is red and black (common) Picture attached
It appears that channel 2 is the trigger and uses an induction pick up on
spark plug #1 wire. The induction pick up has red and black(common) terminal on the meter. Picture attached
My question:
Do I need to get a one to two adapter so I can run a red wire to channel one
Or
Is there a wire assembly that contains a red, black, and clamp for the secondary wire to the distributor
Comments or suggestion greatly appreciated
